short pitch

I’m working with the Irish Wildlife Society on a new model for restoring Ireland’s biodiversity by partnering directly with small landowners. Instead of pressuring farmers to intensify or sell up, we provide them with a steady income by leasing small marginal parcels of land that are then restored for wildlife. This helps family farms stay viable while preventing consolidation into large industrial holdings.

For supporters, it offers something unique: each member helps fund a specific piece of land, shared only among a small group, giving them a real sense of connection and ownership in protecting that landscape. It’s a simple, transparent, high-impact way to keep rural Ireland alive while rebuilding natural habitats.

I’d love your help connecting with anyone who could support or accelerate this work. Here’s the initiative: https://irishwildlife.org/
