Not Being A Business

What we’re doing, getting cheap reseller accounts, is not what most businesspeople would do. They would pay someone to be the Chief Technical Officer and as the business grew the CTO would have a department, because there is so much CTO stuff to take care of.

The CTO would advise

• Paying for a static server or multiple ones.
• Spending loads of money on a web dev company or hiring devs,
• Spending loads on advertising

Normally we would be borrowing money to set everything up. The repayments would take most of our profit, if not all.

The type of hosting we’re using us primarily designed for a web designer to use for his clients.

Se we are in a gap between small-scale web dev hosting and the bigger scales above. That gap is easier to move in, because it’s less crowded or less under pressure.
