Oracle Free Tier

Below Is Redundant

OC-1

OC-2

Redundant now, keeping for reference. This was a lot of resources for free but their “interface” really sucks and turned out to need way too long to learn. Why can’t people just use existing systems instead of making their own convoluted nonsense that is different from everyone else’s?

Leaving the page here for reference.

We have a free-tier account with Oracle Cloud. I set up one virtual server. It’s huge compared to other free offerings. This is one possible way our projects could have their own hosted systems in a fully decentralized way. Also, we could use it to try out a completely unassisted web hosting service. (The reseller account is fully assisted, and the hosted VPS is half-way between the two.)

Firewall rules might be hiding at this location—or

OCI Cloud Console >> Networking >> Virtual Cloud Network
Click VCN Name then Under Resources >> Subnets
Click Subnet Name
Perhaps. – I tried adding port 9090 there in the egress and ingress rules but it made no difference; Cockpit is still unreachable.
