• $29 a year. Next Due Date: Saturday, December 13th, 2025 (paid, still 29)
  It has 1TB storage that can be used for backups of other servers, especially the BTCPay server.
  The client panel is described here. (well, it was…)
  An FTP backup shell script would be simpler for a server, probably.
• It’s a bit slow compared to the ES servers, but that doesn’t matter for a backup server.

WebDAV

WebDAV installed and is working (mounted on HP3.local)

Then I installed SSL/TLS and broke it. Since then, it’s been fixed and working again.

This was $9 per year with 500 GB storage and Direct Admin, but they wouldn’t let me login with different IP addresses or even access it with an IP they had not authorised.

Owncloud

I tried a VPS to run OwnCloud for backup of local machines. I tried Nextcloud first, but it was too bloated. The useful part of owncloud is WebDAV, so I may as well just use that.
